You understand that a successful form validation or on-screen confirmation does not guarantee that funds were transferred, that a tax receipt was issued, or that a campaign received a contribution. If and when live payment processing is enabled, additional payment-processor terms and disclosures will apply, and you must review those terms before completing a transaction.
FoodHatch does not guarantee that any campaign will meet its fundraising goal, that donated funds will achieve a particular social outcome, or that organizers will use funds exactly as initially described. Campaign updates, budgets, and milestones are provided for transparency and storytelling. Outcomes depend on organizers, community partners, supply chains, weather, logistics, and many factors beyond our control. Past campaign results do not predict future results.
Campaign organizers and partner organizations are responsible for the truthfulness of their materials, lawful solicitation, proper use of funds, and any required registrations or disclosures under applicable charity and fundraising laws. FoodHatch may feature, edit for clarity, or remove campaign content at our discretion but does not assume liability for organizer statements or performance.
Because many Site forms are informational or demo experiences, refunds may not apply to simulated submissions. Where live donations are processed through third parties, refund and chargeback policies of those processors and organizers may govern. We do not warrant that: (a) the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free; (b) campaign information is complete, current, or free from inaccuracies; (c) demo forms will result in completed donations or confirmations beyond on-screen messages; (d) defects will be corrected; or (e) the Site is free of viruses or other harmful components. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In those jurisdictions, our warranties are limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FOODHATCH CROWDFUNDING AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

BECAUSE MANY SITE INTERACTIONS ARE INFORMATIONAL OR DEMO EXPERIENCES WITHOUT PAYMENT TO US, CLAUSE (B) WILL OFTEN APPLY.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct where such limitation is prohibited.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FoodHatch Crowdfunding and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Site; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or third-party right; (d) content you submit; or (e) any dispute between you and a campaign organizer, donor, or beneficiary related to fundraising or volunteer activities that you initiate or promote using Site materials.
We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claim.
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, social platforms, payment processors, mapping tools, media hosts, or partner organizations. These links are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to those parties’ terms and privacy policies. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement by FoodHatch.
Social sharing buttons and external icons may direct you to platforms operated by others. Once you leave the Site, these Terms no longer govern your activity on those external services.
